Old Man Legacy Fund and Profile Awards Saturday May 1 2:00 -4:00 p.m. Franconia Notch State Park, Tramway Building (15 minutes from Mt. Eustis Inn) Free to the public, sponsored by the Old Man of the Mountain Legacy Fund. Profile Awards will be presented honoring exceptional service in the conservation and preservation of New Hampshire’s land and heritage. Opening of new exhibit about the Old Man, booksigning with author Bruce Heald and official caretaker of the Old Man, David Nielsen; music by Duane D’Agnese. The Old Man of the Mountain Legacy Fund was formed to carry out a legacy of remembrance for the Old Man of the Mountain. This year’s event at Franconia Notch State Park is co-sponsored by Franconia Notch State Park, Franconia Notch Chamber of Commerce, Littleton Area Chamber of Commerce, and Lincoln-Woodstock Chamber of Commerce. Annual White Mountain Lupine Festival June 4 - 20 The colorful Fields of Lupine Festival is sponsored annually by the communities of Franconia, Easton, Sugar Hill, Bethlehem, Littleton and Lisbon. The lupine flowers carpet local fields and pastures in a rolling sea of vibrant purples, pinks, blues and whites. The long-lasting blossoms attract equally dazzling butterflies and create a gorgeous floral display against the majestic backdrop of the Franconia, Presidential, and Kinsman Mountain ranges. Stroll through the picturesque lupine fields and enjoy art exhibits, concerts, and special events. Tour guide books are available with daily events throughout the month.

30th Annual Wildflower Festival
Saturday June 5
10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m; Rocks Estate in Bethlehem, NH (10 minutes from Mt. Eustis Inn)
The Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests invites wildflower enthusiasts to kick off the annual Fields of Lupine Festival. There is a full slate of fun activities planned at the turn-of-the-century Estate. From photography to crafts and floral identification to use as a food, wildflowers will be highlighted on this early summer day. Several workshops and tours are planned to keep visitors engaged with all aspects of flowers. Forest Society staff and volunteers will lead walks on the beautiful Mile Path, a hidden woodland trail from a bygone era. The Mile Path Walks are limited (only 20 per walk) and fill quickly, so reservations are strongly advised. The cost for the day-long Wildflower Festival is $10 for adults and $5 for children and covers all programs, including sampling the floral edibles.

Annual Summerfest June 9 - 13, Littleton, NH Summerfest is a blast! A wonderful way to spend the day on the banks of the Ammonoosuc River. This festival features crafts, fireworks, rides, concessions, a parade, and a block party Saturday night.

Taste of the North Country

A wonderful flavor of North Country restaurants, offering samples of their fine cuisine and culinary favorites for the public to enjoy. Restaurants will be set up in the Littleton Community House parking lot, Main Street. Purchase tickets for all the "taste treats" and for entering the drawing to take home offerings and gift specials from participating restaurants. Vote for your favorites and watch the judging!

Reach the Beach Relay Race
