What Our Guests Say
A lovely but short visit—we can only hope to be back in the near future. Amazing room, beautiful views and love the quietness and solitude.
As the light cascades into the room, with the multitude of colors outside from the trees, life becomes a little simpler.

Irma and I are honored to visit your beautiful Inn. You have a luxuriously decorated Inn blending the best of the past antiques with the most richly elegant new furniture.
Your warm hospitality and friendly greeting made us immediately feel right at home.
Your Inn affords the most spectacular views of the nearby mountain ridges which we truly enjoyed.
We had the pleasure to whiteness two deer pass through your front meadow and delighted in watching your hummingbirds at the feeders. We will still hope to catch the mother moose and her two calves during breakfast overlooking the meadow.
Thank you again for sharing your home with us and best wishes for your success in running your new bed and breakfast.
I will be sure to tell all our friends of your wonderful Inn. We hope to stay with you again soon.
Relaxed and Happy,
Doreen and Irma

Thanks so much for your kindness and hospitality! We truly have felt at home here in your Inn. The house is so very inviting, even the common areas feel as if they belonged to only us. I enjoyed our conversations and all the amenities afforded us…especially the soaking tub! This could be where I make my next escape for peace and solitude! We wish you the best with your new business! I know you will be successful.

Thank you for such a wonderful stay. If caring is in the details then being here is like finding long lost relatives! It seems you have thought of everything; and each detail is wrapped in kindness. The beds are sooo comfortable, the food—DELECTABLE, the views—SPECTACULAR, and most of all: YOU—so warm and friendly!
Wishing all the best to you. We hope to return soon.

Thank you so much for our great weekend! You both are the perfect hosts and we couldn’t have asked for more. Your attention to detail from our special soaps to your beautiful and comfortable surroundings made us feel very much at home.
I don’t get to spend a lot of time with my cousins so this was extra special for me.
It was a pleasure to meet both of you. Your hospitality and kindness meant a lot to us.
Oh—I forgot to mention the breakfasts—to die for!! And the goodies in the pantry were perfect.
We hope to come back soon and will certainly recommend your Inn to all of our friends!

Your home is so warm and beautiful. We are very pampered and spoiled after three nights at Mt. Eustis Inn! You have thought of everything a guest needs and more.
Our 7th anniversary trip has been wonderful and memorable. We will always remember our new friends, Sally & Jim. This Christmas our Littleton ornaments will have a special place on our tree and we will think back lovingly of our summer in the NH mountains.

How lucky all of us McAdoos were to have visited your beautiful “inn” twice this summer. Upon our return this past weekend, we all felt as if we were returning home—once again. You both are wonderful—not only in your capacity as our host and hostess, but also taking interest in us. Perhaps Colin will perform at Weathervane again or maybe Molly. If they decode not to—you may just have us back again to see you once more!!!

In this case the second times the charm! Unbelievably, our second stay was more fabulous than the first—which was perfect.
Sally & Jim, your gift for perfect “staging” of a B&B extends beyond gracious hosts to good friends—from knowing exactly when and how to reserve seats, where to eat, and how to set up a screen to view missed TV shows—to treasured conversations and shared memories. Many warm thanks! You remain my quintessential (where’s spell check!) B&B.

The spirit of Pollyanna will surly be present in this room for any guest who is lucky enough to spend time here. The view from the windows (and bed) alone will lift the spirits!
If you can conjure up even one item that Sally or Jim have not thought of in outfitting their rooms, you must be an inn consultant—the thoughtful attention to detail is everywhere—from the dark makeup removal washcloth to the current reading material to the early coffee service in the hall.
But what is most important is what I call atmosphere of “caring escape”—you have left the ral world behind, but you are assured you will be lovingly cared for in this new place.
Bravo Sally & Jim…bravo!

Thank you so much for your hospitality. We could not have had a better “babymoon”! Your place is majestic in everyway, from the view out our bedroom window to the afternoon cookies! As soon to be parents, we felt truly pampered. And having to run to the bathroom 3 times a night—the heated floors on my toes were fantastic. You certainly have thought of everything here at Mt. Eustis and we appreciated it ALL, right down to the handmade soaps. We will definitely be returning as we have yet to experience Fall, Spring and Summer here. We have also decided to make tree cutting at the Rocks our family tradition!
Thank you so much for welcoming us as not only guests, but friends.

For us, this inn was like a mountain retreat far from the maddening crowd. What a haven you have created with personal touches at every turn/glance. We definitely want to return for a longer stay in the future.
The tub experience for Joan was almost sinful. Definitely the best bathtub she has ever been in. the view of the mountains was one we should have been taxed for.! No doubt about it.
The two of you have a gorgeous retirement home that feels so warm and cozy to us guests, and I don’t think one possible amenity was forgotten.
Most of all your hospitality was the frosting on the cake. We feel like we have made new friends, and you have also opened some new horizons for us to explore in the conceptual world.
The visit was 99.9% perfect. The remaining one tenth percent was that darn elusive moose!

Morning Mountains

This has been such a rejuvenating experience. This is a magical location, of course, but equally wonderful is the attention to detail of innkeepers, Sally & Jim. They have truly thought of everything—amenities are endless and always in good taste.
Which brings us to the food—from fresh breads and treats to a breakfast fit for kings and queens. Extraordinary!
We chose this B&B because we wanted peace & quiet, which we certainly enjoyed, but there were so many pleasant surprises and Sally and Jim were so friendly and enjoyable, we’ll stay here hopefully many times again. My husband and I truly relaxed. Thank you so much—a remarkable find.

What a wonderful hideaway nestled on top of this lovely area and surrounded by meadows and ever changing views.
Jim and Sally were wonderful hosts giving us a “Yankees” touch of true “southern hospitality” (We were from the north, live now in GA.)
We so appreciated their interest in us and making us feel as though we were long time friends instead of new acquaintances.
You are in for a treat, and we to return again.
From our greeting of “come see the monarch butterflies” to picking sticky milkweed and windows wide open with wonderful cross mountain air—we have been blessed.

What an extraordinary place of beauty and warmth you have created! I am so glad to have had the chance to experience your vision and to admire the quality and attention to detail around every corner. From the wide halls and large bedrooms and bathrooms, there is the luxury of spaces with handsome plants, artwork and artifacts that add to the charm.
Thank you so much for the hospitality and extra efforts to help me totally at ease here!!
And the great selection of reading material and really comfortable furniture and access to the pantry makes this inn a total joy!

What a beautiful “home”. Over the years we have searched for a getaway place to call “ours”. We do believe this is it. We can now stop looking for that right place to go for our annual weekend getaway. It felt so much like a guest room in home of friends and not just a “room” to sleep in. Sally and Jim you are two very special people and have done a marvelous job on the house and the little details you have done to make this a truly unique Bed & Breakfast. The food was absolutely scrumptious and the conversations delightful.
The view is amazing! What a beautiful way to start and end the day.
We will see you again next year!
